I have an English assignment on children’s literacy development to write for university this week so any and all of these books will be perused at length this week!
I brought this book ages ago in a Waterstones sale but have only just got round to starting it. Its a chunker at 662 pages so it may take me a while, but thus far it is really, really good!
This is another book that I have been reading on and off for ages. Its quite technical and one of those book where I really have to be concentrating to make sure I understand what is going on. Its very interesting though and I am determined to finish it!
What are you reading at the moment?
I figured I needed some good fuel to teach well so I made this for my lunch. It tasted great but still, today was one of those days where I felt everything went wrong, even though I was assured by my supervisor that it didn’t.

I wonder when I am going to stop marking how many lessons I have taught; I don’t feel like stopping soon! Lesson two, planned, taught, done and dusted. It went pretty well.
I taught my first full lesson today. Very exciting and very terrifying! So I’m rewarding myself with a big cup of tea and a coffee muffin.
One very messy desk later I have a completed 3000 word assignment and an even longer appendix. I think I need a cup of tea.
Five hours down and four lessons planned. All neatly packed up. I need to get faster at this!
